Texas Holdem Night in the Social Room February 8, 2009
Saturday night, February 7, 2009, was a great night for a Texas Holdem Tournament. Nineteen people took part in the event, everyone competing for top honors.
Many attempted that classic "all-in" move sliding their chips to the center of the table, confident that luck would be on their side. And sometimes it worked out but other times lady luck was on someone else's side. One by one, the players fell victim to a better hand... It came down to the final three players, Jim, Buzz and Fran, battling hand after hand but in the end there could only be one winner. Jim finished in 3rd place, while Buzz finished 2nd and the big winner was Fran taking 1st place and champ for the night.
Congrats to all and thank you for coming out to play. If you missed out on this tournament, no worries... we will be holding another Texas Holdem Tournament on the first Saturday night of next month. That would be March 7th. Hope to see you all there.
