The Social Room is a members only establishment. It's a great place for members and their guests to visit and socialize. The Social Room is not open to the general public however guests are permitted provided they are accompanied by a member and sign the guest book. (see bottom of page for more details)
A few months ago, the fire company conducted a survey about our smoking policy in the Social Room. Out of the 355 responses, there were 260 members in favor of going non-smoking while 95 members were in favor of keeping the smoking policy. Taking the survey into consideration, the fire company Executive Board has ratified the members’ requests and voted to implement a no smoking policy. Effective Thursday March 14, 2013 our Social Room is a non-smoking facility! Stay tuned in the upcoming months as the fire company finalizes plans for an outdoor smoking area.

Normal held on the first saturday of the month, however due to the numerous scheduling conflicts, we will NOT have a holdem tournament in the month of June. Check back soon for the next scheduled tournament.
The Social Room is a members only establishment. It's a great place for members and their guests to visit and socialize. The Social Room is not open to the general public however guests are permitted provided they are accompanied by a member. Limit, two guests per member per night. Note, the same guest can not enter more than three times. After the third visit, the guest can not enter unless he or she signs up to become a member.
How can you become a member of VFVFCo? First you'll need to find a friend or relative who is a current member and ask them to bring you in as a guest. Fill out a membership form, ask the person who brought you in to sign it as your sponsor and turn it in along with the membership fee for the current year. Once your application is processed and you are voted in, you will receive your membership card in the mail. Membership fees are due January 1 of each year.
