Monday Morning House Fire

February 3, 2025

During the Monday morning rush hour, crews from Valley Forge, Kimberton, Phoenixville, East Whiteland fire companies and West End EMS were alerted to a house fire on Audrey lane in Schuylkill Township. Shortly after dispatch, Units arrived to confirm a house with a well involved fire. Initial crews placed 3" hoselines and a deck gun in service to knock down the bulk of the fire. Ladder 65 placed an elevated master stream in service to aid with the fire self venting from the roof.

After operating for a short time, exterior operations were shut down. This allowed crews to advance inside the dwelling and hit any additional areas of fire. Crews worked to salvage any property while they overhauled the hot spots throughout the dwelling. The fire was placed under control after an hour of operating on scene. Royersford's Rescue 98 operated on scene as the cascade and Tower Direct MICU 65 also responded.

The fire is currently under investigation with the Chester County Fire Marshal's Office. The Red Cross is assisting residents as needed.
