Dear Friends and Neighbors:
The Valley Forge Volunteer Fire Company, Chester County Station 68, would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your family for all you have done for us in the past.
We are a 100% Volunteer company. Our members spend hundreds of hours training and in classes, both in-house and at fire schools throughout the area, learning the best, safest and quickest ways to respond to a crisis in the community. Last year we responded to 361 calls including fires, accidents, water rescues, carbon monoxide incidents, ambulance and police department assists, and many others. We also volunteer our time at community events, offer fire prevention training, fundraising and we maintain the equipment, building, and grounds of the fire company's two stations.
This past fall, Valley Forge Volunteer Fire Company was awarded the "Advanced" level of the PA Department of Health Voluntary Rescue Certification Program. We spent years preparing for this audit, and are now one of only three Chester County companies to certify at this level and only one of a few dozen across the state. This is the highest level attainable, and we are proud of this accomplishment.
We are always looking for new members to help in many areas. Junior firefighters can start as young as age 14, but we also need support in the day-to-day operations of a busy, active fire company. For more information, you may call us at 610 933 3388.
Please help us maintain this level of service by sending your tax-deductible donation today. On behalf of the Valley Forge Volunteer Fire Company's Membership, we thank you for your support!
